Hi,
My name is Terry Donovan. My wife, Gloria, and I have the privilege of hosting this website, based in Te Awamutu, New Zealand.
It is owned by a Charitable Trust, and generously financed by some kind people who want anyone to be able to ask questions or seek help on issues of life while remaining anonymous, should they want to. These supporters do not want a ‘churchy’ website, nor one that is ‘politically correct’, but rather one that will be unafraid of sharing honestly and openly, especially when it comes to what the Bible says on any given subject.
So here it is: tcata online (tcata is pronounced: ‘t’ as in tip, ‘ca’ as in car, ‘ta’ as in ta).
And here we are: Gloria and I have lived in Te Awamutu for a long time, and have been Christians since childhood. We have 5 adult children (three of whom are married) and three grandchildren. Expect some of these numbers to change!
We have traveled extensively throughout New Zealand over many years doing music programs and training seminars. In these travels, we have met innumerable desperate people in desperate situations, who are seeking help and hope. We believe honest questions deserve honest answers, and our commitment to this website is to do the best we can on any issue raised.
We have been involved in Church leadership areas for most of our adult lives, and have worked across all ages, cultures and socioeconomic positions. While this website is not intended to be ‘churchy’, it is intended to serve the Church community as well as the wider community, so it will contain a mixture of information.
We believe that God has told us of at least 6,000 people in our local area alone whom he wants in his ‘family’. Some of us are already there, many not. (tcata is an acronym for 'the Christians at Te Awamutu'). We’d love you to join us in our work by signing up through our login tab. This area contains provision for in-house advertising and exchanging information.
